| Community Supported Agriculture, Supporting Community We are encouraging the involvement of various community, youth, church, school, sports, and other groups to participate in our Educational Fundraising on the Farm Opportunities. Your group is encouraged to apply and become involved in a one-time or ongoing summer opportunity for learning and helping on a CSA farm. Once accepted, your group can be scheduled to come to the farm and work on certain assigned projects for the morning, day, or a over a period of time depending on your project. Your group is compensated for the value of your combined work. Additionally the group experiences the joy of involvement in the actual process of growing food for community members. Opportunities include greenhouse work, garden seed planting, transplanting, weeding, cultivating, harvesting, packing, farm projects, woodland projects, woodworking and minor building projects, and more... We can tailor a program to fit specific learning areas for groups such as scouts or 4-H. All experiences involve an educational component as well. Your group is also invited to use our trails or woodlands for additional group activities after your project time. We also offer the opportunity for Fundraising Sales of Fall Harvest Boxes, and when combined with working for covering the base costs, your group can earn 100% of your sales!
